Join us on a adventure to find fun ways to keep learning in the summer months and maybe earn a surprise! Activities include cooking, going on a virtual field trip, creating a short play, journaling and more!

Read daily or have someone read to you (in any language you know) for 6 weeks! With the help of a parent or guardian, consider reading a book about a new topic or culture.
Imagine Learning & Literacy for 30 minutes for 6 weeks (view additional instructions).
Make up a game to play with others. Indoors or outdoors.
Try cooking (with the help and permission of an adult).
Read a book from a new genre. Consider a mystery, informational article, nonfiction book, poetry, folktale, myth, fairy tale, a “how to” book, biography or memoir.
Make an obstacle course or scavenger hunt for others and/or visit the Virtual Calming Room.
Draw/take a picture of nature.
Write a letter to someone you care about or to a leader about an issue that is important to you.
Write/draw in a journal at least once a week for 6 weeks.
Take a walk outside (with an adult) and count all the animals you see.
Draw a picture or write a story about what school was like in the spring of 2020.
Think about what you’re curious about. Each week, for 4 weeks, write a question about your curiosity. Try to find answers to your questions!
Use recycled materials you find around your home (with adult permission) to build a tall structure, 2 feet or taller, that can stand up by itself.
Create Your Own Activity!
Go on a virtual field trip.
Use i-Ready reading to complete 1-2 lessons each week for 6 weeks.
Try to avoid using recreational technology for 24 hours (i.e. video games, television etc.).
Explore the Northshore Learns Home Learning Resources and choose one activity/website.
Keep a physical activity log for 6 weeks.
Learn to sing a new song!
Make up a dance and perform it for friends or family.
Make up a short play and perform it for your friends or family.
Talk to an adult and brainstorm all of the ways each of you use math every day.
Use i-Ready math to complete 1-2 lessons each week for 6 weeks.
Offer to lend a helping hand to a family member or neighbor.
