Both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school year were unlike any we had seen before. As a result, learning recovery and opportunities for students to review and preview key learning are essential. Summer provides an opportunity for students to grow their knowledge in unique ways. Below are resources available to Northshore School District students to support ongoing learning throughout the summer. You can learn more about our ongoing learning recovery focus by reading our Student Academic and Well-Being Recovery Plan.
Students who will be entering 1st through 9th grade in the 2022-23 school year have access to their i-Ready accounts until July 30th. i-Ready is intended to be a supplemental resource, not a replacement for core curriculum. At a maximum, students should access i-Ready 40 minutes per week. If a student gets locked out of their i-Ready account after completing a lesson, it indicates a need for instruction. Designated staff at each elementary and middle school are monitoring student i-Ready accounts and will unlock student accounts weekly. To access i-Ready, students should first log into their Clever account by visiting my.nsd.org and then select i-Ready.
