HiCap Elementary Math
Students who qualify for highly capable math services may receive those services via a math rotation, walk-to model, or online program with support from an NSD teacher. Students who receive highly capable service in math receive instruction above grade level. Past experience has shown that students who qualify for highly capable services in math generally are able to grasp concepts quickly. If your child has recently qualified for highly capable math services and needs extra support on pre-requisite skills, some families find it helpful to explore some of the content below:
