If your student has been accepted to our Elementary Advanced Placement (EAP) program, they are eligible for district-provided transportation to their EAP site. This post contains information for current and new EAP students who wish to use district-provided transportation.
Our department will follow up with EAP families later this month to ensure that everyone has had a chance to fill out the form. In the meantime, feel free to share this post with other EAP families.
In order for your EAP student to receive district transportation to his/her EAP site, please fill out the Transportation Request form by 4:00 PM on August 1st, 2019.
Busing information for 2019-2020 will be available on Transportation's website the week of Aug 26th, 2019.
Who can I contact if I have a question about transportation for my student?
Our Transportation department is best-equipped to answer questions regarding bus routes, bus schedules, and anything else related to transporting students. Their contact information can be found below:
Can siblings who are not in EAP receive district-provided transportation?
In order to determine whether a sibling may attend the same EAP site, families must first complete a waiver request through the Student Services Department. Waiver requests and approval depends on space availability within each grade level. If approved, the waiver is approved for the duration of elementary school, and families must reside in the Northshore School District.
After completing the waiver request, parents/guardians of non-EAP siblings will need to fill out the 2019-2020 Transportation Inquiry Form and wait until all programs have started. Families will need to transport any siblings until they are notified (usually before November) with the outcome of their request.
