Athletics

Woodinville and Inglemoor girls basketball teams competing

We offer 11 sports for middle school students and 17 for high school students. In addition, most elementary schools provide the option of participating in cross country in the fall and track and field in the spring.

Student athletes in high school and middle school are expected to meet or exceed a 2.0 GPA in order to be eligible to participate in school-sponsored sports activities. The district has established excellence as a standard and strives to maintain an appropriate balance among academics, athletics and all extra-curricular activities.

There is a fee to participate in sports at all grade levels. However, this fee is capped for students who play multiple sports and for families who have multiple children participating. Participation fee financial aid is available for individuals who qualify.

As we look across our nation during this time of both pandemic and social unrest, the Athletic Directors of Northshore stand together fighting for Equity and Racial Justice. We all may not be starting this journey from the same place, but we stand together to make Northshore a safe and supportive environment for all students and families. During this challenging time, we promise to work together in this fight to diminish institutional barriers and promote racial and educational justice. We commit to making this a better place for every person employed by or served by our schools in the Northshore School District.
