Family Outreach
One District, One Community
Our mission is to develop long lasting relationships with families, students, and staff to increase access to programs that lead to higher outcomes for students. We are continuously working to:
- Empower parents to engage with their children’s education;
- Bridge communication between staff and families;
- Respond, adapt, and create awareness within our district so all community members may understand and better meet the needs of our most vulnerable students;
- Create a culture that welcomes honest communication.
Family Liaisons
Family Liaisons support the Natural Leader program that is made up of volunteers from multicultural, caring, and social families. They serve as a bridge between families, community and schools. Family Liaisons assist and provide outreach to families where English is a second language and cultural differences may inhibit parental communication and participation at school.
Family Liaisons are currently active at the following schools:
- Bothell High School
- Canyon Park Middle School
- Crystal Springs Elementary School
- Frank Love Elementary School
- Inglemoor High School
