Our community has come together to provide assistance to families in need. The following organizations are ready to help with food, housing, healthcare and more.

Hopelink provides a network of critical social services through a number of different programs – including housing, transportation, family development, financial assistance, employment programs, adult education, financial literacy training and five food banks. 

The food bank will continue to provide groceries at a clearly marked entry
point in pre-packed boxes in order to limit exposure for clients, staff and
volunteers.

In response to the arrival of COVID-19 in our community, the following
temporary changes have been put in place

Each household will be able to pick up enough food for 21 meals per person.

Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond & Shoreline food banks are open:
Tuesdays | 12 - 4 p.m.
Wednesday | 3 - 7 p.m.
Thursday | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
 

Sno-Valley food bank is open:

The Housing Justice Project (HJP) is a homelessness prevention program providing accessible volunteer-based legal services for low-income tenants facing eviction in King County.

InformedImmigrant.com is dedicated to increasing access to resources and knowledge for the undocumented immigrant community across the U.S. We understand that these times are especially hard on immigrant communities dealing with the unique challenges of coronavirus and immigration status.

Parenting Plus is a 10-week parent education group class designed to support and strengthen parents in areas where they may be challenged, especially during crisis.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provides temporary cash for families in need. Some families participate in the WorkFirst Program. The WorkFirst Program helps participants find and keep jobs.

A program providing guidance and legal representation for low and moderate-income families across Washington State. Their free webinars and virtual sessions also offer advice for families experiencing financial complications as a result of the pandemic.

Threads and Treads provides Northshore families free, quality donated clothing for school age youth, teens, young adults and parents. Clothing items include: school-appropriate clothing for the school day and special events, sportswear, shoes, and accessories. All NSD families in need of clothing assistance are welcome to shop each month for 3-5 outfits and school event attire.
