ParentVUE How-To Guides

Parents will need an account 7-digit activation key, which they can get from their student's school office, to create an account. Parents can create an account by following these simple steps:

1. Request a 7-digit activation key from your school's office. Each parent has an activation key and login that will access information for all children in the family.
2. Visit ParentVue in a web browser and click I Am a Parent.
3. Click I have an activation key and need to create my account, which will display the district's Privacy Statement.
4. Read and accept the Privacy Statement by clicking on the I Accept button.
5. Enter first name, last name and the provided activation key then click Continue to Step 3.
6. Create a username and password and list primary email address then click Complete Account Activation.
7. Once ParentVUE opens, click on the My Account tab to review your cell phone listing. Use the dropdown menu to designate that a number is a cell phone. If you have not cell phone listed, click Add to add a number; and be sure to use the dropdown menu to indicate that it is a cell phone.
8. While in ParentVUE, if you are the "Living With" parent, you may also wish to click on the Home tab and then Student Information to check your child's emergency contacts. Click Edit to change this information.

Families can report absences up to FOUR days in advance. Each student needs a separate report even if all of your students will be absent during the same time.

1. Select the Type of Absence and enter the required dates and times:

• All Day - Student is absent for all class periods
  • Tap Start Date to change the date, if needed. 
  • Tap End Date to change the date
     
• Late Arrival - Student will be marked absent for any class periods that take place before or at the selected arrival time.
  • Tap Start Date to change the date, if needed. 
  • Enter an arrival time.
     
• Leave Early - Student will be marked absent for any class periods that take place after or at the selected departure time.
  • Tap Start Date to change the date, if needed. 
  • Enter a departure time
     
• Classes - Student is absent from select class periods
  • Tap Start Date to change the date, if needed. 
  • Select the classes the student will miss

2. Select a reason for the absence.

3. Enter a note if needed.

4. Click, Save.

Families can verify student absences for up to TWO days in the past. If a student has past absences that need parent verification, the Report Absence button has a red number on it.

If you accidentally clicked 2026-27 Student Enrollment, you will be prompted to begin the enrollment process for a new student.
