On Friday, September 20, District servers were hit with a significant cyberattack that rendered many systems non-operational. Examples include student data and business systems as well as some phone and voicemail services. We are working with law enforcement and industry experts to remedy the situation as quickly as possible but anticipate that outages will be for several days.
At this time, there is no evidence that student, family or staff data has been compromised.
Our Technology Department continues the work of restoring all online services for our families and the District. At this time, we are very close to providing full access to StudentVue and ParentVue. While we originally anticipated restoring full access by the end of this week, staff have determined that final setup steps necessary to maintain a secure online environment will push that time to the evening of Monday, October 14.
Until ParentVue and StudentVue are fully accessible for families, you and your student can gain access while on a District campus by using the NSDPublic wifi.
Phone, voicemail and email are all fully functional. However, please use this form if you have difficulty reaching a school.
