July Construction Update: Skyview & Canyon Creek Expansion

Construction crews have been hard at work at the Skyview/Canyon Creek project during July! Demolition of walls between the new additions and existing buildings is finished. Work has started on the footings and foundation for the Canyon Creek gym expansion, which will add about 700 square feet to the existing space. Framing for the covered play area at Skyview is complete.

The team is making progress on the expanded kitchen and cafeteria area at Skyview. The electrical rough ins are installed, the floor has been transformed so it is all one level, and framing for the kitchen addition is complete. This expanded kitchen and cafeteria will better support the school’s continued growth.

Both schools have seen had a lot of work at the entryway of their campuses to improve curbs, gutters and sidewalks, which will help with circulation and pedestrian safety.

August will also be a busy month for the crews as they prepare the buildings for students to return in September.
