July Construction Update: Elementary #21

Elementary #21 construction continues to make strides! The fence posts for the athletic field were installed in July and the asphalt treated base for the bus loop will be finished by Aug. 2. Horizontal drilling commenced, which will connect water pipes to the school. This method is being used because of the proximity to the neighboring residential community. 

Interior work including sheet rock, plumbing and ductwork continues, as does exterior masonry and window installations.

The District continues to seek input from students, staff, families and community members for the District’s newest elementary school. Name ideas can be submitted through Sept. 27, 2019. A committee will then narrow the selection, ask for additional community input, further narrow choices and then submit a few ideas for board approval.
