Flooring Replacement Underway at Six Elementary Schools
Sections of flooring are being replaced at Maywood Hills, Moorlands and Wellington elementaries during the summer. To date, flooring installation is complete at Maywood Hills, except for the music room, which is expected to be done by late August. Demolition is complete at Moorlands, and floor installation has started. Wellington’s demolition is ongoing, with installation scheduled to start early next week.
Additionally, all flooring, except for the gym, will be replaced at East Ridge, Lockwood and Westhill elementaries. Demolition is ongoing at Lockwood and Westhill, while installation is in progress at East Ridge.
These necessary improvements were made possible by the generous support of Northshore voters who approved the 2018 bond.
