Dr. Irish's 2025-26 Entry Plan and What Matters Most Tour

Dr. Justin Irish, Northshore’s new Superintendent, is implementing a comprehensive community engagement tour to learn What Matters Most - from you - between August and December 2025.

The purpose of the What Matters Most tour is to grow Dr. Irish’s knowledge of the District, identify community priorities to support the District’s Strategic Plan, and provide an intentional and inclusive structure for relationship building.

The What Matters Most tour reflects the Superintendent’s personal commitment and strong desire to engage authentically and learn from and with students, families, staff, and partners. Meeting structures will include focus groups, individual meetings, and community-hosted events.

Ongoing Commitment to Inclusive and Authentic Community Engagement

Ongoing engagement will be sustained through the development of a Northshore Community Advisory Committee to the Superintendent. The committee will represent the diverse perspectives and expertise of the Northshore community. The committee charter and application process will be distributed in early November, with applications due prior to the Winter Break in December. The first committee meeting will be held in January 2026.

What Matters Most Report to the Northshore Community

After implementing his entry plan, Dr. Irish will share back what he learned about the Northshore community’s priorities. This report will align with publication of the district’s Annual Report in February 2026.
