Conversations with the Board: 2025 Superintendent Search, Legislative Update, and More

Dear Northshore families, secondary students, and staff: 

The search for our next Superintendent is underway. Thank you to the over 2,000 individuals that responded to our recent Superintendent Search survey. We really appreciate your participation and engagement.

Please join the School Board Directors and staff on April 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Woodinville High School Library to: 

  • Receive an update on the Superintendent Search and engagement findings. The School Board’s goal is to announce a new Superintendent in mid-May 2025. You may view the Superintendent Search Firm’s analysis of the community feedback here. 
  • Share your thoughts regarding key priorities for the next Northshore Superintendent.
  • Engage in conversation about the Washington State Legislative Process and budget development for 2025-26, and more.

School Board Director Kelly Resignation

I am writing to share that I am resigning from my role as a Northshore School District Board Director, effective June 30, because I will no longer meet the District 5 residency requirement. Serving Northshore students, families, educators, and community members has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Our community has shaped me as an educator and as a person, and I remain deeply committed to public education and student success.
