To replace aging portables and accommodate school and program needs, installation is now underway for the Bothell High School campus’ 6-classroom modular building. The anticipated completion date for the building to be available for school use is tentatively October 25, 2024.
Walk-through video tours provided by Pacific Mobile provide a chance to visualize how the building will come together, including the classrooms, hallway, gender-neutral restrooms, and staff offices. This modular building was constructed in sections, which were transported by trucks for installation at Bothell High beginning in late August. Prior to the installation, contractors poured the foundation and completed additional site work. Final utility hookups will take place before occupancy is granted by the city.
These SAGE (Smart Academic Green Environment) modular classrooms combine the latest thinking in healthy learning environments with the best in green building practices. Using environmentally safe building materials, the structures have improved HVAC that incorporate energy recovery ventilation for air quality, noise reduction, and more.
This project was funded by the voter-approved 2022 Capital Bond.
