At Northshore Middle School and Skyview Middle School, synthetic turf is currently being installed and the track is being resurfaced. Both fields were previously grass, and the District is moving toward having turf installed at each of our middle school fields to improve student safety and increase facilities for year-round use. The estimated completion date on these projects is mid-September at Skyview MS and late September at Northshore MS. These projects are still under construction and not currently available for community access, but once complete this fall, school and community use of the fields and track can begin again. Both of these projects were funded by the 2022 Capital Bond, which was generously supported by Northshore voters.
