Kindergarten Bus Information

Welcome Aboard!

We are excited to welcome your Kindergartener to the 1st day of school. School bell times may change each year. Please check your school's website for start and end times. 

If your student is riding the school bus, we want to share some important information with you.

WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOUR STUDENT IS ON THE BUS

  • We recommend you download the My Stop application for bus route tracking and information, please click on the link for additional information.  My Stop App - Northshore School District
  • Familiarize your student with the number and picture of the bus they will be riding. A list of bus numbers and associated pictures is available on the drop-down menu under Kindergarten Bus Information to your left. 
  • Students will be assigned a bus stop base on their home address. For bus information, please refer to the E-Link page. 
  • If you plan on enrolling your child into a daycare center, please fill out a transportation modification form to request a bus adjustment and you must wait for approval before students can ride a different bus.  Transportation Forms - Northshore School District
  • Kindergarteners need to display the informational tag with their bus assignment at all times. This ensures our drivers and school staff can easily identify kindergartener students bus information. Please do not remove and if missing, please notify your driver immediately.

  • Kindergarteners will be assigned to seats in front of the bus and will be the first students off the bus at bus stops.  Parents need to walk up to the door to receive your student throughout the school year.

This is an exciting milestone for our kindergartners. Your bus driver is excited and looks forward to helping make each student's first school experience a great one.

To ensure the safety and proper release of your child, it is mandatory that the student release authorization part is completed and kept current within your ParentVue account.
