Please promptly report any damage, loss, or stolen devices damages using the Student Support Ticketing System. If the student device is stolen, file an online police report to the county Sheriff’s office and obtain a case number and/or copy of the report. Avoidable damage, such as a broken screen, damaged housing/casing, or broken hinges, will result in a fine assessed to the student/family. Normal wear and tear will not incur a fine; lost devices and accessories will incur a fine equivalent to the replacement value of the item(s) lost. We cannot accept personally purchased replacement items, as they may not be compatible and cause safety issues or void warranties.
Fines are based on the purchase price of each part, and does not reflect labor costs. The cost of a full chromebook replacement, including bag and charger, is $500.
Pay Tech Fine
In rare cases, a fine can be waived with approval from District Technology Staff. If you want to apply for a fine waiver for a fine that has already been assessed, please complete this form.
