Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is a way of organizing the efforts of adults within systems so that each student gets what they need when they need it. The MTSS Department commits to providing a continuum of services to learners in Northshore School District. Through the MTSS Whole Child Framework, we provide essential services including English Language Development, Title I, and Learning Assistance Program resources. Our commitment extends to embracing and supporting students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring that our programs are inclusive and responsive to the unique needs of each learner.

Our Learning Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting students who have below grade level reading and/or math. We are committed to accelerating their learning through tailored interventions that take into account their diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. By providing individualized support and resources, we ensure that each student receives the help they need, precisely when they need it. Our goal is to bridge learning gaps and foster an inclusive environment where every student can progress toward grade-level proficiency while honoring and leveraging their unique experiences and strengths.
