Public Works Information

Public Works as defined in RCW 39.04.010:

The term public work shall include all work, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement other than ordinary maintenance, executed at the cost of the state or of any municipality, or which is by law a lien or charge on any property therein.

Requirements for public works contracts vary based on the dollar amount of the contract (including tax). Projects under $2,500 require a Small Works Public Works Contract to be completed. Projects over $2,500 must comply with Northshore School District #417 General Requirements and Conditions.
