Schools Receive Public Address/TCU System Upgrades Through Summer 2022
Equipment upgraded for public address/TCU system

Work continues around our campuses to improve the safety and security of our students and staff. This includes the launch of Phase 2 of our school public address and TCU systems upgrades, with updates touching 30 of our schools from February through August 2022.

Schools receiving updates include:

Arrowhead Elementary, Bothell High School, Canyon Creek Elementary, Cottage Lake Elementary, Crystal Springs Elementary, East Ridge Elementary, Fernwood Elementary, Frank Love Elementary, Hollywood Hill Elementary, Inglemoor High School, Kenmore Elementary, Kenmore Middle School, Kokanee Elementary, Leota Middle School, Lockwood Elementary, Maywood Hills Elementary, Moorlands Elementary, North Creek High School, Northshore Family Partnership/Northshore Networks at Bear Creek Campus, Secondary Academy for Success, Shelton View Elementary, Skyview Middle School, Sorenson ECC, Sunrise Elementary, Timbercrest Middle School, Wellington Elementary, Westhill Elementary, Woodin Elementary, Woodinville High School, and Woodmoor Elementary.

Schools will be receiving both updated equipment and standardized technology systems. In many of our schools, the current systems in place are outdated or no longer work as intended. New features in the system will include the ability to program announcements in certain areas of a building or specific rooms. This functionality will be useful during testing periods or in classrooms offering special services where interruptions are disruptive to the learning environment.

The PA/TCU system upgrades are funded by the 2018 bond, which was made possible thanks to the generous support of Northshore voters.
