Ruby Bridges Elementary Teacher Names Regional Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Ruby Bridges Elementary kindergarten teacher Kim Broomer for being selected as the 2024 Teacher of the Year representing the Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD), which works with early learning and K-12 public and private schools from King and Pierce counties. This is a significant honor, and we are very proud to have Kim as part of our Northshore community. As Ruby Bridges Principal Cathi Davis shared, "this is no surprise to our community, to me or to the hundreds of people who have visited her classroom to learn how inclusive education honors and elevates the brilliance of each and every student."
