November Construction Update: Elementary #21

Elementary #21’s campus is quickly taking shape. In November, site prep work for the playground area was initiated, the athletic field marked 90% completion and permanent light poles were installed at the roundabout. Additionally, as a safety measure for the school, bollards began to be installed in the east parking lot. 

Inside the school, bathroom fixtures and accessories are being installed, as is some casework. The contractors also continue to work on installing the ceiling grids and tiles. Gutters and downspouts are being installed around the building and interior painting is ongoing.

The naming process for the school is nearing completion. The Elementary #21 Naming Committee has culled down the finalist names, which will be presented at the Dec. 9 board meeting for the board to select, approve and announce the name.
