Northshore School Board Seeks Applicants for District 5 Vacancy

The Northshore School District Board of Directors invites eligible community members to apply for the vacant District 5 Board Director position, representing Woodinville and portions of Redmond and unincorporated King County.

This volunteer leadership opportunity allows community members to help shape the future of Northshore schools by serving on the Board of Directors through November 2027. 

Applications will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen and registered voter.
  • Reside within Northshore School District Director District 5.
  • Be willing to serve in accordance with Board policies, Washington State law, and applicable ethical requirements.

The Board is committed to a transparent appointment process, including public interviews of finalists before selecting the new Board Director. The new School Board Director is anticipated to begin their term on September 14, 2026.
