A total of 19 students from North Creek High School were recently recognized by Schack Art Center as 2024 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards regional winners, including senior Nivedita Raj, who received one of the 2024 Susan J. Russell Scholarships to support her future studies in the visual arts. Nivedita is the founder of the Fashion Club at NCHS and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architecture after graduating this spring.

NCHS students Anvi Karpoor and Juah Lee each were named as Gold Key recipients, which means they will proceed to the national competition. Presented by the non-profit organization the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, this year’s 101st Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the country’s longest-running and most prestigious scholarship and recognition program for creative students in grades 7-12, with Schack Art Center serving as the Art Awards affiliate. Congratulations to all these outstanding students!
