The project team at the Northshore Concert Hall at Inglemoor High School has made significant progress both inside and outside of the building throughout the month. Lights and acoustic panels have been installed inside the building and scaffolding will be taken down this week. The elevator installation is also scheduled to be completed by the end of the month.
Outside the building, the team has focused on making sure the parking lot areas are ready to maximize the space for students and staff to park when they return in September. The building enclosure is nearly complete with the glazing for the front entrance, two-story windows in process and expected to be complete in the coming weeks. The existing tennis courts were demolished. Their new location has been cleared and the team is installing the curb for the slab and sleeve for posts to support the nets. In August, paving for the courts will begin.
Also on the horizon, the team is on track to complete drywall installation in the classrooms and the remaining area in the lobby by early August. The Concert Hall’s second floor bathroom tile installation is anticipated to be completed in the next few weeks.
This project was made possible by the generous support of Northshore voters, who approved the 2018 bond.
