The Northshore School District will host a ribbon cutting and open house celebration for the Concert Hall and music classrooms located at Inglemoor High School on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. Inglemoor is located at 15500 Simonds Road NE in Kenmore.

This event includes an open house with tours, student musical performances, remarks, and a ribbon cutting. The remarks portion of the evening will take place from 6:30-7 p.m. RSVP is requested for planning purposes.

This construction project was made possible due to the generous support of voters who passed the 2018 Capital Bond. The 750-seat state-of-the-art Concert Hall opened in February 2022, however high rates of COVID-19 at the time prevented the District from hosting a community-wide event until now. The Concert Hall space will be utilized by schools across Northshore for musical performances and serves as a resource for the community. The new building also includes new classrooms for choir, band/orchestra, a music lab for piano and guitar, as well as practice rooms and instrument storage. Improved traffic flow at Inglemoor was also a focus of this project.

The school district continues to complete projects funded by the 2018 Capital Bond projects as it looks ahead to projects funded by the voter approval of the 2022 Capital Bond. These projects provide critical infrastructure improvements in our schools, addressing many of the highest facility needs in the District.
