January Construction Update: Northshore Concert Hall at Inglemoor
Final beam being placed at the Northshore Concert Hall

Excitement is building at the Northshore Concert Hall at Inglemoor High School. Throughout January, the steel structure went up. On Jan. 28, a small group of District leaders, along with Cornerstone and Evergreen Erectors celebrated the final beam installation with a topping out ceremony. In the days leading up to the ceremony, current and some former Northshore music educators were invited to sign the beam for posterity. While students, staff and community members were unable to attend the ceremony in person due to safety restrictions, it was filmed and will be shared with the Northshore community in the coming days.

With all of the steel placed in January, steel installation will be considered complete when the welding is finished in February. Following welding, the team will move forward with enclosing the building, which is expected to be ongoing through the spring. The gas line connection is the last major infrastructure connection to the existing site that needs to be done. This is scheduled to take place in February. The construction team is working in coordination with the District and school to minimize impact to the school. If necessary, the work will be completed over a weekend or a scheduled break.

This project was made possible by the generous support of Northshore voters, who approved the 2018 bond.
