Enrollment Demographic Task Force Seeks Applicants

This fall, the Northshore School District will offer opportunities for our families, secondary students, and community members to get involved in supporting our schools and students in a number of different ways. In anticipation of committee work starting in early September for the Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF), the application process is now open for this district volunteer opportunity. For the 2026-27 school year, there are five vacancies that need to be filled by parents and community members.

Annually, EDTF studies demographic trends in the Northshore School District and determines these trends' likely impact on schools. It also studies the size of the student body from year to year and assesses the district's ability to offer equitable programs and services to all students in all schools. During the 2026-27 school year specifically, the task force will develop recommendations for school planning covering the years 2026-2032, which will include adjustments in school boundaries across grade levels.
