All Northshore schools open, Nov. 25

All Northshore schools open, Nov. 25

As of Saturday evening, November 23, all Northshore Schools and programs have power and internet access. Northshore support services and maintenance crews also spent the weekend clearing additional debris from school grounds and resetting systems. We are prepared for a safe return to school for all students and staff tomorrow, November 25.

As a reminder, elementary and preschool programs are operating on conference schedules this week. Middle and high schools are on a regular schedule. All schools will have a half day on Wednesday, November 27, for the holiday break. Visit our Start & Dismissal Times webpage for your school’s dismissal time.

We want to thank our families and students for your continued support and patience throughout the multi-day power outage. We will be reviewing our emergency response and continue to refine our practices to improve service to our Northshore community. Additionally, in tomorrow’s Connections Newsletter we will include resources for home emergency preparedness.

Finally, we want to acknowledge and honor Northshore teams working behind the scenes in response to the storm, many who also didn’t have power in their own homes and worked around the clock to support students, families, and colleagues. Thank you for clearing debris, resetting alarms, moving food out of non-working refrigerators, and keeping people informed. You are seen and deeply appreciated.
