Administrative Updates for 2022-23

Superintendent 

Michael Tolley is serving as Interim Superintendent for the 2022-23 school year. Michael previously provided direct supervision of school leaders as the Regional Assistant Superintendent for the East Region, as well as oversight of Special Services departments including Special Education, Student Services, and Accelerated Models and Programs. 

 

Northshore Administrative Center

Adra Davy is the new Director of Just Education and Adaptive Technology, responsible for providing vision and leadership to ensure all learners, particularly those furthest from educational justice, have a sense of belonging and success within their school community. Adra most recently served as the Director of Special Education for the North Region.

Amity Butler is the new Regional Assistant Superintendent (RAS) for the South Region and will oversee Accelerated Models & Programs. Previously the Director of Accelerated Models & Programs, Amity led the District’s effort to universally screen Northshore students for Highly Capable Programs. 

Audee Gregor is now the Principal on Special Assignment (0.5 FTE), providing one-to-one induction mentoring for first-year principals, as well as supporting new leader induction. Audee was most recently the Principal at Leota Middle School. 

Ayva Thomas is now the Director of Racial and Educational Justice after serving as the Assistant Director of Racial and Educational Justice since 2020.

Welcome, Carri Campbell, to Northshore as the Executive Director of Communications. Carri joined Northshore this month after holding multiple positions in Seattle Public Schools, most recently as Assistant Deputy Superintendent, a role in which Carri created the Office of Strategy Deployment and Responsiveness.  

David Wellington is the new Regional Assistant Superintendent for the East Region, Elementary Program, Bear Creek Campus, and now oversees Student Services. David Wellington will support our conversations about Secondary Grading. David provided direct supervision of the West Region previously and also oversaw elementary initiatives, including the expansion of 5th grade instrumental music. 

Ebony Harvey is the Director of Accelerated Models and Programs, overseeing the work of English Language Development Services, as well as Northshore’s Learning Assistance Program, and Title 1 programs. Ebony was most recently Principal on Special Assignment working with the Accelerated Models and Programs and previously served as the principal of Woodmoor Elementary.

Julie Trembath-Neuberger is the new Director of Special Education for Systems and Operations, overseeing Special Education programs at the district level across all regions. Julie was previously the Director of Special Education for the West Region.

Megan Bernicchi is the new Assistant Director of Accelerated Models and Programs, supporting all services within the department.  Megan previously was the Acting Co-Administrator of Northshore Networks, Northshore Family Partnerships, and Northshore Virtual Program.

Melissa Riley is the new Regional Assistant Superintendent for the North Region, also overseeing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) implementation and Equity Pedagogy. Melissa was most recently the Assistant Director of Equity Pedagogy, overseeing the development of the District’s new ethnic studies curriculum, which is being piloted this fall. 

Melissa Ward is the new Special Education Director for the North Region. Melissa was a school psychologist supporting staff and students at Cottage Lake and Ruby Bridges elementaries. 

Obadiah Dunham is the new Regional Assistant Superintendent for the West Region and now oversees Special Education. Obadiah oversaw the North Region as a RAS previously, as well as led Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. 

Heather Miller is the new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Assessment & Instruction, Early Childhood programs and services, and the Secondary Academy for Success. She will take the lead for induction of new administrators, secondary initiatives, and graduation. Heather oversaw the South Region as a RAS previously, including Career & College Readiness.

Welcome, Scott Irwin, to Northshore as the new Special Education Director for the West Region. Scott was the Director of Secondary Student Services in the Shoreline School District for the past seven years.

 

North Region

Brandi Doyle is the new Principal of Canyon Creek Elementary. Brandi was previously the Assistant Principal at Canyon Creek and has administrative and teaching experience that spans the K-12 continuum including the Adult Transition Program.

Bryan McNiel is a new Assistant Principal at North Creek High School. Bryan most recently was the Assistant Principal at Leota Middle School and served as Interim Principal for a portion of the 2021-22 school year at Leota.

Craig Richardson is the new Assistant Principal of Canyon Creek Elementary. Craig was most recently an Assistant Principal at Woodinville High School.

Welcome, DeAnn Henley to Northshore as the new Assistant Principal at Leota Middle School.  DeAnn is coming to us from Texas, where her most recent role was as a Response to Intervention Specialist.

Meghan Crane is the new Assistant Principal at Ruby Bridges Elementary. Since January of 2022, Meghan has served as the Interim Assistant Principal as well as continuing to manage the implementation of the Primary Years Program. Prior to this position, Meghan was the Primary Years Program and Inclusionary Practices Teacher Leader at Ruby Bridges.

Scott Leick is the new Principal at Leota Middle School. Scott has been an Assistant Principal at Bothell High School since 2018 and served as the AVID District Director since 2017.

Winnie McCulloch is the new Assistant Principal (0.5 FTE) at Canyon Creek Elementary. Winnie was previously at Timbercrest Middle School as Assistant Principal since 2019.

 

South Region

LaTisha Joseph is the new Assistant Principal at Moorlands Elementary. LaTisha served Woodmoor Elementary most recently as the Dean of Students and Administrative Intern.

Molly Fiske is a new Assistant Principal at Woodmoor Elementary. Molly most recently served as a Preschool Special Education Teacher at Sorenson Early Childhood Center where she led the Racial and Educational Justice team and was a member of the building-based Shared Decision-Making Leadership Team (SDLT).

Nancy Johnson is the new Principal at Woodmoor Elementary. Nancy joins Woodmoor after serving five years as Assistant Principal and Dean at Moorlands Elementary.

 

East Region

Greg Cox is the new Principal at Hollywood Hill Elementary. Greg was at North Creek High School, where he was the Assistant Principal for three years.

Welcome, James Van Stralen, to Northshore as the new Assistant Principal at Timbercrest Middle School. Prior to joining Northshore, James was Assistant Principal at Meeker Middle School in the Tacoma School District.

Michael Griffin is the new Principal at Sunrise Elementary. Michael was previously an Assistant Principal at Woodinville High School and Principal at Lockwood.

Richard Brown is a new Assistant Principal at Woodinville High School. Richard joined Northshore in 2019 as Assistant Principal at Bothell High School.

Welcome Ron Taylor to Northshore, as a new Assistant Principal at Woodinville High School. Ron joined Northshore as a substitute administrator during the 2021-22 school year. Prior to that he held administrative roles in Issaquah School District and was the Superintendent for two independent schools.

Welcome Ross Baker to Northshore, as the new Principal at the Bear Creek Campus, which includes oversight of Northshore Networks, Northshore Family Partnerships, and the newly renamed Northshore Online Academy (formerly Northshore Virtual Program). 

 

West Region

Amber Pacquer is the new Principal at Canyon Park Middle School. Amber was most recently the Principal at Hollywood Hill Elementary, and prior to that was Assistant Principal at Canyon Park.

Welcome, Angela Menon, to Northshore as a new Assistant Principal at Bothell High School. Angela is coming to us from the Lake Stevens School District where her most recent role was Associate Principal.

Welcome, Carrie Burr, to Northshore as a new Assistant Principal at Bothell High School. Carrie joins Northshore from Tahoma High School, where she was most recently an Assistant Principal.

Hillary Radocaj is the new Assistant Principal at Canyon Park Middle School. Hillary was previously an Administrative Intern at Canyon Park and also the District Music Coordinator.

Welcome, Kayla Andrews to Northshore as a new Assistant Principal at Innovation Lab High School. Kayla was previously an English teacher as well as the National ACT Site Coordinator at Benton High School.

Welcome, Shannon (Molnar) Thompson to Northshore as the new Principal at Shelton View Elementary. Shannon was an elementary principal at Buena Vista Elementary School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
