2022 Tech Levy: Classroom Technology Equipment Updates

In spring of 2023, 200 classrooms across Northshore are receiving updates to technology equipment used by educators for classroom instruction. Interactive LED panels and audio amplification systems will be placed in classrooms at 24 schools to replace aging equipment. Some of the systems being modernized have been in use for 13 years, serving as some of the original interactive boards and audio systems used in Northshore classrooms. These interactive LED panels are used by students and staff to draw, display multimedia, and present information. The audio amplification systems are hands-free tools that project the voice of the teacher and students across the room. These research-backed technology tools create more efficiency and accessibility for students to access instruction. These improvements were made possible thanks to the generous support of Northshore voters, who approved the 2022 Technology Levy.
