2022 Capital Bond Update: Celebrate the Completion of Construction at Five Schools During Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies and Open Houses

We are excited to announce open houses and ribbon cutting ceremonies for five of our school construction projects completed this fall. These construction projects are possible due to the generous support of Northshore voters, who approved the 2022 Capital Bond. Learn more about each construction project funded by the 2022 Bond.

The events take place:

• Maywood Hills Elementary: Friday, Sept. 26 at 5:15-6:15 p.m. during the PTA’s Back-to-School Bash
• Woodin Elementary: Friday, Oct. 17 at 5:15-6:15 p.m. during the PTA’s Fall Festival
• Sorenson Early Childhood Center: Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. during the PTA’s playdate
• Kenmore Elementary: Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 4-5 p.m.
• Crystal Springs Elementary: TBD - check back for an update

Each event will begin with remarks made by representatives of the school and district, followed by the ceremonial ribbon cutting and then optional tours of the new spaces, where guests can learn more about the completed projects.

Since approval of the 2022 Capital Bond, Capital Projects and school staff worked through the stages of project development, schematic design, design development, construction documents and permitting, and construction, and we are eager to gather in celebration of these completed projects.
