ArtSpring

Art Spring. It's something special!

ArtSpring is an Art Festival designed for Northshore middle and high school students who are supported by the Functional Skills & Academics (FSA) program. The District understands the value of art at all levels, for all students because of its positive impacts.

At ArtSpring students, along with their teachers, therapists and mentors, will experience a very special day joining local artists in a variety of fun and colorful art projects designed just for them. Projects include:

  • painting
  • polymer sculpting
  • weaving
  • stamping
  • beading
  • collaging
  • and more!

Students will take home a variety of creative art. Many of the projects will be collaborative pieces to be assembled and displayed in the students’ schools in the weeks following the event.

The event is sponsored by a Safeway/Albertson’s Corporation Education grant awarded in 2018, which is funding art supplies, transportation and the venue.

Additional support and participation for artists has been provided by the PTSA from each participating school.
