We are located in Kenmore, Washington, part of the Seattle Metropolitan Area, where we serve approximately 1,600 students in grades 10 through 12 with a number of seventh- through ninth-grade students attending select Inglemoor classes unavailable at their respective junior high schools.
Inglemoor students are academically strong. The performance of students at Inglemoor on state assessments in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics is consistently rated among the highest for all schools in Washington State. A number of our students are enrolled in unique programs such as International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement, where students are encouraged to challenge themselves. Programs such as Tech Prep and Running Start can provide college credit along with high school credit. We have students benefiting from the vocational training available in a variety of satellite programs which are offered through WaNIC (a cooperative of seven local school districts) and through the Lake Washington Technical College.
Inglemoor High School is committed to excellence in education. We are guided by our Vision: “to offer programs for all students. To approach learning in a supportive and positive environment where students and staff share responsibility for knowledge and value working and learning together.” Our school Motto is our guiding principle: “VIKS” (Voice, Integrity, Knowledge, and Service).
A close connection with our parents and their active engagement in our academic, athletic, and activities programs enhance our school community. Parent volunteers are observed regularly in the classroom and on campus assisting in the learning process.
