Kenmore Middle School has a very strict "Closed Campus" rule in place to protect all students.
Visitors and parents must make an appointment and check-in at the main office PRIOR to visiting a teacher and/or a classroom. Voice mail or email can be used to contact a teacher.
"Dropping in" to meet with a teacher during school hours whether during student passing, a teacher's planning period or even before and after school is not allowed. Teachers will make appointments with you to discuss concerns you may have regarding your student.
Anytime a parent or visitor is on campus for any reason, you must check-in the main office and get an visitor badge. We do not accept flowers, gifts or balloons for students during the school day. Students are not allowed to have them in the classroom. Such items are very distracting to the learning process.
