**Also- for anyone inquiring about getting Volunteer hour opportunities approved, please be aware that most opportunities will be honored as indiviudal hours. Valhalla hour opportunities have to be approved by our NHS Officers. For information about how to get an opportunity approved as Valhalla, scroll to the bottomo of the Valhalla Hours page.REMINDERS for all potential members:1) Half of your hours (5 Valhalla and 10 Individual, if applicable) are due along with your electronic google form application AND your $10 fee paid to the ASB Cashier by no later than 3pm on January 19th, 2018. No excuses, no exceptions, none of that fun stuff. There have been tons (over 20, to be precise) of Valhalla events offered this year, so if you want to participate in NHS, make sure you get all your application and hours materials done and in by the 19th.2) Lists of who has successfully filled out the application (or the Intent for 9th graders) will periodically be posted outside of 917 starting this week. You can't just email Ms. Richards and ask her if you applied....check the list!3) After first semester grades are in, we will post the list of those who successfully met the requirements (including the GPA requirements). Those people will have until March 30th to finish the remainder of their service hours and submit the forms. Remember to get your hours done early- there is no guarantee that we will create more Valhalla opportunities at the last minute!!
