    GPA Eligibility Requirement
Beginning in the 2014-15 school year, student athletes in high school and middle school are expected to meet or exceed a 2.0 GPA in order to be eligible to participate in school-sponsored sports activities. The district has established excellence as a standard and strives to maintain an appropriate balance among academics, athletics and all extra-curricular activities.

High School & Middle School Sports Seasons
Northshore offers 11 sports for  students and 17 for senior high students. In addition, most elementary schools provide the option of participating in cross country in the fall and track and field in the spring.

Northshore's four senior high schools, Bothell, Inglemoor, North Creek (starting fall 2017) and Woodinville, compete in the KingCo 4A Conference.
The KingCo 4A conference is comprised of the following high schools:

    • Bothell
    • Eastlake
    • Inglemoor
    • Issaquah
    • Newport
    • North Creek
    • Redmond
    • Skyline
    • Woodinville
State championship play is governed by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). Northshore's six junior highs compete against each other.

Northshore charges a fee to participate in sports at all grade levels. This fee is capped for students who play multiple sports and for families who have multiple children participating. Participation fee financial aid is available for individuals who qualify.
