Getting students ready to take their place in the world is challenging. The knowledge and skills needed to prepare for a well-paying career a generation ago are only adequate for a minimum-wage job today.
The world is a much more competitive place and our students need fundamental skills and knowledge as well as the ability to apply these in their daily lives. Students need to be able to think critically and use problem-solving skills to succeed in life today.
