Carol Ward RN, School Nurse
I have been working as a School Nurse in the Northshore School District since 2008, spending the first five years at Sunrise and Hollywood Hill Elementary Schools. Prior to School Nursing, I spent 16 years working in hospitals and acute care settings including outpatient pediatrics, allergy/asthma/immunology, neonatal and adult intensive care.
As the health advocate for our Viking community, I can best serve your children if I am informed of changes in their health status, including new or resolved medical or mental health diagnosis, medication changes and immunization updates. Please promptly communicate questions or concerns by your preferred method of contact below.
Be careful out there! GO VIKINGS!

Substitute Nurses Needed:
Are you a Registered Nurse who might be interested in exploring the rewards of school based nursing, supplementing work hours or simply maintaining nursing licensure credentials? We would love to discuss available opportunities as a substitute school nurse with the Northshore School District -- this is a great way to transition into community nursing with K-12 school age children. Contact Rebecca Cavanaugh, Health and Nursing Supervisor, Northshore School District: 425.408.7728 or firstname.lastname@example.org
