It is important to keep consistency for your student during these challenging times. We recommend creating a daily routine for your student. The schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of your family. The resources below may be helpful to incorporate into a daily routine.

For as long as schools are closed, Audible is available. Kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.

Through a free membership to King County Public Library you can access Tumblebooks, a digital library that reads books aloud. While not a substitute for in-person reading, it can be a fun activity!

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. In the 'printouts' section of the ReadWriteThink website, they offer a wide variety of graphic organizers to support reading comprehension and writing.

Scholastic is providing free cross-curricular home learning resources including stories and videos. Many of their texts also include a 'text-to-speech' feature and the ability to adjust the reading level.
