Introducing Frank Love's new Assistant Principal, David Lowe

Hello Frank Love parents and families!

My name is David Lowe, and I am very excited to be your new assistant principal next year.  Just so you know a little bit about me, I'm a two-time husky (BS in Information Science and MA in School Administration) and a Seattle U alumni as well (MA in Teaching). I was a primary classroom teacher, literacy staff developer and head teacher for eight years in the Seattle Public Schools. Last year I took a leave to work on building notetaking apps for classroom teachers, as well as to do some consulting on Reading and Writing Workshop, including here at Frank Love.  I was able to merge my programming/STEM side with the side of me that absolutely loves elementary literacy, which was a lot of fun.  This year I've been the Teacher Leader for Arrowhead, Canyon Creek, Kenmore, and Moorlands.   My wife, Amy, is an early childhood special educator who now stays home with our three kids--Ellie (8), Mathias (5) and Kate (3)--who are all Northshore students themselves at Kenmore and Sorenson.  Outside of school, I am a big ultimate frisbee fan and a huge tabletop boardgame enthusiast.  I can't wait to meet all of you and join in on the work at Frank Love!
