Past events... - Spring Concerts were off the hook. Thanks to all those who participated, especially that super-awesome zombie movie by the 7th grade Concert Band! (!?).
- NSD Orchestra Festival. The TJH Orchestra was pleased to perform at the Northshore JH Orchestra Festival at Skyview JH. The Timberkids earned "Excellent" marks for their outstanding playing. Nice!
- NSD Band Festival. Timbercrest was proud to participate at the district's JH Band festival in March. All six junior high schools were in attendance performing music for their peers and receiving feedback from some of the areas top music educators. TJH earned a top mark of Superior (I-). AWESOME job!
- Northshore JH Solo/Ensemble. On Saturday, January 30 NSJH hosted students from all 6 junior highs inthe district. Hundreds of students participated in this annual chambermusic event, including over 70 Timberkids. Awesome fun with music!
- BCC Jazz Festival. On Friday, Feb 5th 2010, the Timberjazz Hepcats participated in the annual BCC Jazz Festival and were praised for their "excitement, energy and groove." Way to go Jazz band! (2009 = Finalist. 2008 = Finalst...see the Seattle Times article from 2008 featuring former TJH drummer, Billy Cassidy).
