Science Fair March 13, 2010
Important
Information for Science Fair Projects:
1. Each project has 3 parts:
• Doing some science,
• Making a display that explains what you did, and
• Explaining your project to fellow students, teachers, and parents.
2. Please turn in your registration form to the school office by Friday February 5th, 2010.
Your registration form indicates your intent to participate. It does
not imply that the project is finished. You should register even if
you are not sure yet what kind of project you will be doing.
3. Once you turn in this registration form, we will bring a display board to your classroom with your name on it.
4. There will be lunch-time help sessions and a reference binder of
ideas in the library. Check out the Moorlands website for additional
information.
5. Use drawings or photos to illustrate living, breakable, or
potentially dangerous items used in the science project. The school
and PTA are not responsible for lost or broken items.
Please notify Laura Parpart & Susan Watters - scifair@moorlandspta.org if you require any special setup, such as an electrical outlet, or if you have any questions about the Science Extravaganza.
The most important thing to remember is to HAVE FUN!
