My name is Susan Monette-Czarnecki and I am pleased to be the School Nurse at Lockwood Elementary. The students will know me as "Nurse Susan". I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from University of Arizona. I completed PLU's school nurse certification course. My hospital experience includes working in a medical unit and medical-oncology unit. I worked in home health services for several years. My school nurse experience began at Woodmoor Elementary where I was the half-time nurse for four years. I spent the next four years at Skyview Junior High. I am now very pleased to have joined the Lockwood Elementary school community.

My goals are threefold; to keep our students safe and healthy, to manage health problems as they arise, and to be a resource and advocate for families in our Lockwood Community. I am here the entire school day and welcome and encourage you to contact me about any health, medical, or social concerns which arise during the school year.

To help me achieve these goals, please keep me updated of any changes regarding your child's health or medications he/she may be taking. Also be sure to inform the office staff if there are changes in your emergency contact information .

To the left you will find links to information about medications at school, immunizations, when to keep your child home from school, and other useful information related to health, safety, and wellness.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
