Thank you from the Superintendant
Thank you for your continued support of Northshore students and schools. Passage of the bond and renewal of the levies sustains critical local funding which enables us to continue providing an excellent education for our students in safe learning environments. These measures are vitally important, particularly as we face the prospect of further deep reductions in state funding.
We are proud of the consistently strong academic performance of our students and appreciate the generous support of our community. The Northshore community has an unrivaled history supporting quality public education, even in difficult times.
We firmly believe that strong schools equal a strong community. Thank you for investing in the future of our community and protecting our community's investment in your public schools!

Save the Dates! - Be a Part of the 2010-11 Budget Development Process
The State Legislature is expected to finish its session March 11
and further cuts to K-12 education funding for the 2010-11 fiscal year
are expected. Potential state education cuts could create a budget
shortfall of more than $6 million dollars for Northshore. Without the
community support of the local bond and levies, this shortfall would
have been much greater, and we thank you.
Please mark your calendars and plan on attending one or all of these important events!
Conversations With the School Board
Meet with individual board members to share your thoughts on the
budget. During each two-hour session, 25 minutes will be spent
discussing each of the following questions:
-
What are your priorities for education as we make decisions about the budget?
-
What are your ideas for cost savings?
-
What are your thoughts on basic education and enrichment?
-
What are ways to help?
