Kindergarten Registration for the 2012-13 school year:
Please share with any new parents in your community that may have a kindergarten student for next fall.
Kindergarten registration for full-day and half-day begins March 11th. Students who turn 5 years old by August 31, 2013 are eligible for enrollment.
Enrollment forms can be picked up in the office or downloaded from www.nsd.org , Elementary School, Registration, Kindergarten (bottom of page), Forms for parents.
The forms needed are:
Enrollment form
Health registration form
Immunization form
Kindergarten Full Day Interest form for those who are planning on Full-Day Kindergarten
When you register the office will need:
Documented proof of immunization
Proof of residency (i.e. utility bill, mortgage bill, etc)
Emergency contact information
Family information (i.e. work and cell #'s)
Daycare information
Doctor's name and phone #'s
All day kindergarten availability will be determined based on the amount of students who are registered and interested in the full-day program. We accept 24 students for full-day kindergarten. If we have more than 24 registered, we will hold a lottery and notify parents with a letter.
The cost for full-day kindergarten will be $320.00 per month or $160.00 if you qualify for a scholarship. Upon notification that your child is being considered for the full-day program there will be a $345.00 registration fee of which $25.00 is non-refundable.
