In just four short days the students, teachers, staff and parents of Kokanee Elementary, along with the Everett AquaSox Baseball Team and The Washington Stealth Lacrosse Team, raised
$5,325
for Disaster Relief. The money is being donated to UNICEF for Haiti and will go directly to the children and families devastated by earthquakes.
Special thanks goes to Starbucks and Safeway who donated 22 Joe On the Go containers that were placed in each of our classrooms for coin collection.
The donation breaks down as follows:
Kokanee Coins: $ 2,642
Kokanee Cash: $ 1,355
Everett AquaSox: $500
Washington Stealth: $828 ($239 in program sales, $589 from their fans)
