The Northshore School District invites parents of incoming
kindergarten students to the annual kindergarten orientations held at
the Northshore Performing Arts Center at Bothell High School:

Wednesday, Feb. 24, 7-8PM
-
Thursday, Feb. 25, 7-8PM
A multlingual kindergarten orientation will be held on March 2 from 7-8PM at the Woodmoor Elementary Library.
Spanish,
Russian, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese interpreters will be
available. Childcare will be provided for the multilingual
presentation only.

A
panel of educators will discuss the district's kindergarten program,
describe typical kindergarten activities and answer questions from the
audience. No registration is required for the orientation sessions and
they are intended for parents only.
Parents may register their students for 2010-2011 kindergarten classes at Kenmore Elementary on Monday, March 22, 9:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Kenmore Elementary Kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year has been scheduled for Monday, March 22. Registration will take place in the school office from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., no appointment necessary. Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2010. Please bring the following information with you: • Proof of residency (rental agreement, utility bill, mortgage bill, etc.) • Child's birth certificate • Child's immunization records • Emergency contact information • Daycare information

Kenmore Elementary Kindergarten Tours
Our principal, Mr. Madsen, will conduct a tour for you and your child through kindergarten classrooms. Please call the office at 425-408-4800 to sign up for either Monday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. or Tuesday, March 16, at 1:00 p.m.

The H1N1 vaccine is now available to all individuals. Vaccination locations, updates, additional information and resources are available online
at the district Web site under "Health and Safety." We will provide
updates as new information becomes available.
Please remember to check the district website or King County Public Health and Snohomish County Public Health websites for updates and new information.

Head Start helps
children get ready for school. Our program is a FREE,
part-day pre-school program for 3 and 4 year olds. To qualify, your family must
meet income guidelines. Please call Barbara Stratton at 425-408-4861. Interpreters are available. Feel
free to leave a message in your home language. Applications are also available
in the Kenmore Elementary school office.
