• Parents are requested to contact the attendance office by phone or in writing (no email, please) the day the student is absent.
• Absences must be excused within 48 hours of the student returning to school. No student is allowed to excuse his/her own absence.
• Submitting a note to the Attendance Office, signed by a parent/ guardian, or a telephone call to the Attendance Office (425) 408-7210, is required in order to excuse an absence.
• A reason for the absence must be stated on the excuse.

Passwords and User IDs for Parent Assistant and now Progress Reports Online are available via the IHS Attendance Office, Chris Gowing.

For security purposes, you must come in to the attendance office and show ID and sign for your user name and password. You can not get a password and user ID over the phone. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope you can understand this step given the sensitivity of the information involved.

Remember the User ID and password work for both Parent Assistant and Progress Reports Online.

On days when there is an assembly, early dismissals will be issued, with standard parent permission, only until the end of the last lunch. No dismissals will be given out after the end of the last lunch.
